Winner winner, chicken dinner!

Two thumbs up for "Country Chicken Dinner"
We are getting ready to take our first plane trip next week (more on that later) and one of my errands tonight  was to stock up on pre-made food to bring with us.  I have been making all of Daniel's food since he started eating solids, minus the initial rice cereal and a few prune containers here and there to "move things along".  I invested in a Baby Bullet during a black Friday sale (with a 20% off coupon) and have been make tasty treats the last two months out of pears, apples, peaches, sweet potato, squash, green beans, avocado.  We recently introduced yogurt and cottage cheese and dairy seems to be a winner.

Thankfully,  Daniel isn't too picky of an eater, sometimes makes faces, but generally opens his mouth for another try and will eventually gobble everything down .  He's his daddy's boy.  He's not a fan of texture yet though.  But the books have been saying that he can now try giving the baby meats and I haven't really figured out how to puree meat to a point that he's like it, so I decided to get him some store bought meat.  Actually it was and organic "Country Dinner" mix.  Basically a mix of organic, chicken, rice and squash.  It tasted like chicken and gravy, without salt.

Daniel was a fan.  Though he was pretty interested in my trail mix lid.  Interestingly, Connor, who hasn't really put two and two together about Daniel + high chair = tossed puffs for snacking, was VERY interested in this dinner too.  Looks like we have a little omnivore on our hands now!
