We had a baby "sprinkle" for one of our dear friends yesterday to help her welcome in her baby #2 who is due in a few weeks.    It reminded me how blessed Daniel is to have so many loving "aunties" in his life, all of whom have showered him with love since he was the size of a poppyseed.  These aunties, my closest girlfriends, also all have kids ranging from 3 years old to about to be born in the next few weeks.  I'm thrilled that Daniel  is going to have LOTS of playmates as he grows up...and lots of girlfriends.

Of the 11 "cousins" all but two are girls...and one of those "Trout", due in three weeks, is still technically an  unknown and could end up being a girl too.  I was convinced that Trout's big sister, Claire, was going to be a boy, so I'm not even guessing with this one.  Daniel's one male "cousin", Robbie, was born almost three months to the day after him and they are going to have their work cut out for them with all of these girls in their lives!  I'm hoping that between his daddy and these girls he will learn the proper way to treat a woman and grow up to be just as awesome of an husband/father as his daddy is.  Especially because he will never be without a prom date!
