Daniel is talking up a storm...we don't know exactly what he's saying, but he's definitely communicating. He's also pointing and clapping and of course laughing and smiling. Since he's getting more mobile, I wanted to teach him "uh oh" for when he takes a little tumble but isn't really hurt. The idea being to keep him from wailing just because he fell 6" on him bottom. It seems to be working...too well. He likes "uh oh". He likes the intonation of phrase. He likes bouncing his body up and down with the two sounds. And more importantly, he likes that we like it when he does it. Here's a little video of him exploring the fridge this morning (he also likes to push the door and let it swing)
