We had a last minute weekend getaway to Colonial Beach, VA before I finished my maternity leave. Grandma Corrinne, cousin Alicia and Tio Rudy all came along and we celebrated Alicia's 8th birthday. Minus the sleepless night in a hotel room before we could get into the beach house, it was a fabulous trip. Daniel proved, yet again, that he has NO fear and charged right into the water. He wanted to be a big kid just like his cousin. Hence the floaty suit the second day there. We love this little town, the calm beaches and of course, the ice cream! We're already planning a longer trip there next summer.
