One of the first words out of Daniel's mouth every morning is "Da-do?" (his word for "doggie"). Daniel loves his Da-do and his Da-do has learned to have a healthy tolerance for his boy since his boy usually comes with food. Da-do has been put on a diet recently because his boy has been TOO generous with him lately and he's gained nearly 10lbs in 6 months. So we'll see how long the Da-do puts up with being laid on, ridden, kissed goodbye (good morning, good night) and generally subjected to a toddler's utmost affection. But for now Daniel still sneaks his Da-do snacks and every once in awhile a few milkbones so I think the friendship is here to stay.
