New Traditions

We decided to try to start a few new traditions this year and visit the toy train exhibit at the National Botanical Gardens. Didn't expect that the wait to get in would be longer than it would take us to get through, but Daniel loved the choo-choo's so it was worth it. We also went to see the water skiing Santa show at National Harbor, which would have gone over better if it hadn't hit right at nap time if the lovely first flurries of the season hadn't turned into a very cold sleety drizzle. Not so much a hit. We also kept our tradition of visiting houses with crazy Christmas lights and if the sound on my phone hadn't bonked you would have heard the lights set to "Gangam" style and Daniel telling the lights to turn on and off...and "yeah" when the song was over. Oh well, maybe Santa will fix my phone for Christmas.

Choo choo!

A rare family photo

And not so much fun in the sleet
