Poor David has so many hand-me-downs, but it's fun to see him in the same outfits that Daniel wore at the same age. This month has flown by, mostly because the first week was in the hospital, the second week was trying to physically recover at home and the last two weeks were me managing two boys at home. Sorry David, you can't roll (or run) away or talk back, your brother got the bulk of my attention. But now it's all about you...until I go back to work. A few things I've noticed in your first month:
- You have darker hair, but it may turn light...at least you're not pulling it out
- Your eyes are light and getting lighter by the day
- You are a fantastic eater, have been since the first hour after you were born. Mommy thanks you.
- Big brother Daniel adores you. He always wants to "hold it" (you) and asked about Baby David as soon as we go in to get him in the morning. He also makes sure your hand is held when we say grace at dinner.
- You blessedly took to the pacifier. Daniel likes to help with putting it in your mouth (not always gently)
- You grunt, a lot and have this little machine gun "eh heh heh heh" sound that you make when you're getting settled into a meal.
- You sleep in 3-4 hour spurts at night and are having more and more awake times during the day
- Your fussiest times are when you are having something going on in your belly...or if you fell asleep and mommy diasppeared.
- You LOVE to be held and be carried around in the Bjorn
