| My work baby shower, days before C was born. |
A few weeks ago we went up to Baltimore to spend some time with our good friends, the Weikels, and run in a community 5k. Marielle is one of my closest friends from college and mommy mentor since out of our circle of friends she was the first to have a baby. Her first, my goddaughter, is what we lovingly call a "sucker baby" because she was so good she "suckered you into another". Her second, two months to the day older than Daniel, is a little explorer too and equally strong-willed.We love getting them together, though I'm glad that Daniel didn't get the walking early bug from her. Climbing was more than I could handle. But it's so fun for us to see how they interact as they get older too and we can definitely tell that they are going to get into some trouble when they get older! Hopefully the good big sister will rat them out before they get into TOO much trouble. Here are a few shots from after the race when we were having breakfast and they took to exploring the kitchen. Already a tag team.
