Fun at the Fair

The Montgomery County Fairgrounds holds a special place in my heart for a few reasons: it was the site of my Light The Night Walks in Montgomery County and was the location for one of my first dates with Chris...when people came up to him trying to figure out if he was Kenny Chesney.  Now it may become a summer family tradition after this weekend's trip up there to spend time with my old boss, her family.  Her kids are a bit older, but Daniel was happy to follow them around and watch the 4 year old with absolute awe.  He also had the chance to see some fun farm animals in the 4-H expo and run around in the barns.  Next year, when he's more aware of which animals are which (and the noises they make) we will have a total blast.

Daniel tried to lure the goats by shaking his snack container, no luck.

"Oh wow"...piggies...
A closer inspection

Checking out the cows with daddy and Miss Fran

Ohhhh...

Pat the Bunny, the live version

Watching the horses pulling the carriage

And I'm done...until next year.

What a great family weekend activity! We're proud of ourselves on the days we all get to Costco (and back) :)
