Parental Pat on the Back

We are thankful for our friends who have done this toddler thing before us, but we often still feel like we're learning as we go along. Like with tantrums, and the no's and good gravy the climbing...but there's one thing we are proud of ourselves for teaching and instilling a good habit. Daniel likes to say grace. Or at least "Amen" (it sounds more like "amin"). He knows when we put down food and, he grabs our hands and usually before we're done saying a short grace he'll nod and say "AMEN!" and then smile and nod and be INCREDIBLY proud of himself. Of course we're super proud of him too, his name does mean "God is my judge" so even at 19 months we're happy to see that he has the beginnings of a man who loves his God. Yeah for doing something right as a parent!!
